Award 2023

The 2023 winner, Roland Rahal from the MOURJJAN label with the ‘Mourjjan4Children’ project, was selected by a jury of twelve experts. The winning project 2023 ‘Mourjjan4Children’ is a creative educational programme for traumatised children. At the centre of the project is the aim of offering children a space in which they can learn to deal with their emotions and draw creative strength from them. They should have the opportunity to learn who they are, what is important to them and how they can make decisions that will have a positive impact on their future.

“It is a great honour that we were able to convince the jury in particular that the children also develop ideas for a textile product as part of the course, which in turn helps to finance the programme,’ says Roland Rahal, winner of the 2023 award.
