The Look for Positive Impact

Yannik Zamboni, the winner of the “Miele x Mode Suisse Award for Positive Impact”, has created “The Look for Positive Impact”. This consists of a bodysuit and a trench coat by “maison blanche” and a mask by Swiss artist “Gianni Nagi”. The look will be auctioned off from 12 to 16 September 2024, and all the proceeds will be donated to charity.

The Miele x Mode Suisse Award for Positive Impact is a great honour for me and my team. The award is of great significance to me because as well as being about design, it primarily recognises all the efforts and extra work associated with sustainable creation, reinforcing the issue as a result.

The topic of sustainability has always been very important to Zamboni. Ever since founding his label “maison blanche”, he has placed particular emphasis on this aspect – not only ecologically speaking, but also on a social, ethical and economic level.

Statement from designer

Sustainable fashion – sustainable laundry care

Sustainability is part of our philosophy, and we are continuously striving to find environmentally friendly solutions. With Miele, you can wash laundry efficiently and in an environmentally conscious manner without compromising on quality.

Sustainable fashion refers to the production of clothing that is more environmentally friendly and socially responsible. The aim is to conserve resources, reduce the amount of waste and create fairer working conditions for the people involved in production.

And this corresponds perfectly to Miele, as Miele washing machines and dryers are equipped with innovative technologies to minimise water consumption and reduce energy requirements. We use high-quality materials and durable components to ensure a long service life for our appliances and limit the need for spare parts.
